Whitmans Song of Myself and The Nature of Life Identifying the mystery of existence, Whitman writes Song of Myself, section six to question the nature of the life of man. I can not accurately describe myself without describing my family as a whole. I come from a close knit family of parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents to which I am the only girl. That has provided me with many strengths as well as some weaknesses.
